Lowell Light and Power is celebrating National Lineworker Appreciation Day (April 18) and Earth Day (April 22) with its customers the week of April 17 – 21.
“Lineworkers work all hours of the day, often in hazardous conditions, away from their families, going above and beyond to restore power to their community,” said Charlie West, General Manager. “They work under dangerous conditions on a daily basis. Our lineworkers, as well as lineworkers across the nation, truly deserve this special day of recognition.”
To honor Lowell Light and Power’s lineworkers, we invite customers and community members to take a moment to thank a lineworker for the work they do! We have Thank You Cards you can print for the kiddos to color. If you share them as a post on Facebook or Instagram, please use the hashtags #LowellLightAndPower, #ThankALineworker and #LineworkerAppreciationDay so we can find & enjoy them! If you drop off the cards or coloring pages, we will use them to decorate the office.
In Celebration of Earth day, LL&P Customers are invited to stop into the office for a FREE Energy Saving Kit, containing various light bulbs and nightlights, valued at over $50 (limit one per address). We will also have giveaways for kids of all ages. We look forward to celebrating with you!
