LL&P Giving Free Trees to Residential Customers, while supplies last

DID YOU KNOW? Planting the right tree in the right place can reduce your energy costs by up to 20%!

Additional benefits of trees include saving energy, cleaning the air, and improving our water. Naturally, we want to celebrate these benefits with our community!

Lowell Light & Power is excited to offer a new customer program this year, through the Arbor Day Foundation’s Energy-Saving Trees Program. We’re offering Residential Customers the opportunity to reserve 1 free tree, beginning August 1st, while supplies last.  Customers will receive a choice of species, which may include: River Birch, October Glory Maple, Pin Oak, Prairie Fire Crabapple, and Eastern Redbud. (Subject to change.)

The tree must be reserved at www.arborday.org/LLP, after August 1, 2023, using the Promo Code on the flyer you receive with your August bill. Trees will be available for pick-up on Saturday, September 16th, between 9 am and Noon, at the LL&P Energy Center, also known as the LL&P Warehouse, at 625 Chatham St, Lowell.

Keep an eye out for the bill insert, and be sure to join in on the conversation on Facebook and Instagram!  We’d can’t wait to hear which type of tree you pick, and where you’re going to plant it.
