We Offer Many Convenient Bill Payment Options

AutoPay*
Setting your account up for automatic payments is easy! Your payment will be processed on the 18th of every month, and if you have an email on file, a receipt will be emailed to you.

Pay Online*
When you pay as a guest, you do not need a Customer Portal account. You will need the account number and last name of the account holder, and you can make payment with a checking account, debit or credit card. You have the option to have a receipt emailed to you.

Pay By Phone
You can pay your electric bill 24 hours a day through our IVR system. Please call 1-855-786-5356. You will need your account number handy. Your account number is on your monthly statement, or you can call the office at 616-897-8402 and we can provide the account number for you.  Please note: Office staff cannot accept payments by phone.

Pay By Text*
Once you enroll, a link to make pay your bill will be texted to you each month. You can opt out at any time.

Pay In Office or Drop Box
You may stop into the office during normal business hours to make a payment by cash, check, credit/debit, or money order. You may also use either of our drop boxes. One is located just inside our front door, and the other is a drive-up drop box located on Riverside Drive.

Pay by Mail
Please include the bill payment stub, and write your account number on the memo line of your check. Mail your bill payment to LL&P: PO Box 229, Lowell MI 49331

Creating A Customer Portal Account

Creating a Customer Portal account only takes a few minutes. The easy-to-follow instructions are below. If you would like help enrolling or navigating the Customer Portal, or have other questions, feel free to call or email our friendly team, we are always happy to help!

First, you will need to register as a new user:

  1. Go to https://ebiz.lowell-light.org/ and look for: “New User? Register here”
  2. Complete all required fields, including the base account number, your name as it appears on the bill, the last 4 of your SSN (or EIN for a
    business). Note: The Base # does not include the -001 at the end.
  3. Enter your email address, choose a challenge question & answer, click “Finish.”

Next, you will need to enter a payment method:

  1. Log into your account using the log-in information you just created
  2. Under “Payments” on the left side of the screen, click “Payment Methods”
  3. Click on “+Add New Credit/Debit Card” or “+Add New Bank”
  4. Complete the required fields & then click on “Save Information”

Now you can enroll in AutoPay:

  1. Under “Payments” on the left side, click on “AutoPay” and then click “+New AutoPay Setup”
  2. Verify the correct account is selected, the invoice type defaults to Utility Payments, and the desired payment method is selected
  3. Agree to the terms & conditions.
  4. FINAL STEP: Click the “Save this AutoPay Setup” button at the bottom left side of the screen. The next screen that pops up will say “Signed Up” under the Status.

Protect Yourself from Utility Scams

Lowell Light & Power would never:

  • Use an automated phone system to contact you
  • Have a third-party company contracted to call and discuss account information on our behalf
  • Request bank account information for a rebate
  • Demand immediate payment by pre-paid cards, cash packs, wire transfers, or anything untraceable
  • Require payment for quicker restoration if the power is out
  • Offer a discount or refund by requiring bank account information
