Commercial or industrial customers with compressed air systems should consider a compressed air audit every year and the new Engineered Air Nozzle program.
Compressed Air Audits & Leak Reduction
Incentives are available to customers for the repair of leaks documented in a leak audit of a compressed air system. Leak audits are incentivized at $15/HP. The following criteria must be met to qualify:
- The audit is performed by a qualified, independent contractor
- At least 50% of the leaks identified in the audit are repaired by either a contractor or the customer
- Pre-approval is required prior to repairing leaks
Customers are encouraged to conduct these audits on an annual or bi-annual basis.

Engineered Air Nozzles – NEW!
Engineered nozzles replace open tube blowing, using multiple, smaller holes instead of a single hole. These nozzles can be installed at virtually all industrial and manufacturing facilities, including machine shops, parts manufacturing, and food processing facilities.
The Engineered Air Nozzle Program is built around the customer’s needs and provided to the customer at no material cost, only requires the customer to install the provided nozzles. All nozzles are manufactured by EXAIR and an engineer can be made available to help with the selection process. View the available nozzles and hose list.
Engineered nozzles not only significantly reduce energy use, but they also reduce noise levels and increase user safety by eliminating the risk of dead-end pressure injuries. They can reduce CFM used by 75% while increasing volume up to 25 times.
