We are excited to announce two ways you can help your neighbors in need:
- Donate towards Flat River Outreach Ministries Affordable Housing project
- Make a donation to the A PLUS Fund either by rounding up your electric bill or making a one-time donation.
Flat River Outreach Ministries (FROM) is excited to share we will be bringing 17 more units of
affordable, supportive housing for families to Lowell. This is the first step to addressing the need
in our community.
Details:
- Two multi-units and one duplex.
- 17 units.
- Options for single individuals and families of up to four.
- 40 people housed at any given time.
- 400 people served over 25 years, impacting generations of children long into the future.
- Rent will be affordable while still allowing the buildings to be financially sustainable long term.

A PLUS is a fund that Lowell Light & Power developed to assist our customers with utility bill payments during the occasional financial crisis that many of us experience during the normal course of life.
We are once again asking our customers to donate to the A PLUS Fund by “rounding up” their monthly payment to the next dollar or making a one-time donation. The donations will be matched by Lowell Light & Power and placed in the A PLUS Fund. Flat River Outreach Ministries (FROM) will administer the funds to customers who qualify throughout the year.
