LL&P launches a new residential program in January 2025. Residential customers can now schedule a FREE Virtual Energy Assessment.
A home energy assessment, also referred to as energy audit, can help you identify how you use energy, determine where it is being wasted, and where you can save energy. Additionally, it may help you prioritize any efficiency upgrades you’d like to make. If you’re interested in learning more, but not sure where to start, we encourage you to schedule a free assessment.
How does it work? Customers will select a day and time to have a video-sharing meeting with an energy advisor from Franklin Energy. Using a cell phone or tablet, you will “guide” your energy advisor through your home, so you can learn how to lower your energy use, make your home more comfortable, and reduce your energy costs.
After your energy advisor has conducted the appointment, you will receive a customized report. The report will include energy-saving recommendations and available rebates. With this information, you will be able to make decisions about which energy-efficient upgrade(s) are right for your home. You may also qualify for free energy-saving products, such as smart strips and sockets, weather-stripping and more.
