The Lowell area community is invited to POWER FEST: Celebrating 130 Years of Public Power on Wednesday, September 23rd from 5 – 7 PM, at the LL&P Energy Center (625 Chatham St, Lowell).
Join us as we celebrate 130 years of serving the Lowell community with reliable, cost effective, community-owned public power! Whether you’re one of our valued customers or simply a member of the community, you’re invited to be part of this special milestone.
Bring the whole family for this FREE, family-friendly event featuring fun activities for all ages, including:
- Bounce house
- Touch-A-Truck
- Decorate a light switch cover
- Try on Lineworker gear
- Temporary tattoos station
- Lineman Climbing demonstration
- Turbine Generator demonstration
- Enter to win prizes
- and more!
Everyone who attends will receive a giveaway at the door, and kids will take home a bag full of goodies—no one leaves empty-handed! (While supplies last.) Plus, the first 130 people through the door will receive a special commemorative giveaway.
Throughout the event, you’ll also receive entry tickets to use for prize drawings. Choose which giveaways you’d like to enter for, including a wireless speaker, a cozy Sherpa blanket, and kids’ prize baskets.
Come hungry! Local food truck Around Baking Company will be on-site with their delicious pizzas, drinks and desserts available for purchase.
