The Lowell area community (customers AND non-customers!) are invited to join us for POWER FEST: A Celebration of Public Power on Thursday, October 17th from 5 – 7 PM, at the LL&P Energy Center (625 Chatham St).
We will have fun stations for ALL AGES to enjoy during this FREE family-friendly event!
- Try on lineworker gear and use the equipment on a mock utility pole
- Utility Pole Climbing AND Turbine Generator Demos
- Coloring and temporary tattoos stations
- Decorate your own light switch cover to take home!
- Touch-a-truck and more!
PLUS, you will receive entry tickets during your visit to be used to enter to win the giveaway of your choice: Yeti Tumbler & Lowell Bucks, Camping Chair & Sherpa Blanket, Air Purifier, $50 Bill Credit, and more! (There will be other small giveaways too, so don’t worry, you won’t go home empty handed.)
Come hungry, because Around Baking Company food truck will have their incredible pizzas, drinks and desserts available for purchase. Receive a free koozie if you buy a combo!

Power Fest is part of LL&P’s celebrations in honor of National Public Power Week (October 6-12), recognizing that we are a community-owned, not-for-profit electric utility.
October 7th – 11th: Customers can stop by the office for free popcorn and giveaways, including a drawing for an Air Purifier or $25 Bill Credit.
Saturday, October 12th: LL&P will be hosting FREE Pumpkin Decorating on the Showboat from 10am to 4pm during Lowell Harvest Celebration!
