Every year, Lowell Light & Power celebrates Public Power Week with in-office giveaways for our customers. This year, we will do that, too….. BUT we thought we would invite the entire community (YES! customers and non-customers!) to join us for Power Fest: A celebration of Public Power.
JOIN US at the LL&P Energy Center (625 Chatham St) on Thursday, Oct. 17th, from 5-7pm.
Don’t worry about chowing down before you arrive, because Around Baking Company food truck will have their incredible pizzas, drinks and desserts available for purchase.
We will have fun stations for all ages to enjoy! And, to make it a little more exciting, we will give you tickets during your visit. Each ticket will be used to enter for some great giveaways of your choice, including: a LL&P Yeti, Camping Chair, super-snuggly blanket, Lowell Bucks, & more!
We know how much fun the kids have when they get to try on line worker gear, so we will have plenty of PPE for kids (and adult kids!) to check out. There will be a mock pole set up so everyone can get a taste of what it’s like to use some of the equipment. We’ll alternate utility pole climbing demo’s and firing up the generators, have coloring stations, temporary tattoos and more! Make sure to decorate your own light switch cover, too, before heading home.
It’s going to be a great night – be sure to bring the family or invite a friend, and have some fun with the Lowell Light & Power team at #PowerFestPublicPower!
