Lowell Light and Power has a job opening for a Customer Service Rep / Communications Specialist.

The minimum qualifications for this position include: A high school diploma or equivalent; One year of customer service experience; Proficiency in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced education, Graphic Design experience and experience in WordPress is preferred.

Additionally, you must be able to :

  • Know and comply with all applicable safety rules and regulations.
  • Understand and comply with all LL&P operating practices and policies.
  • Know the LL&P geographical service area.
  • Articulate in both oral and written communications.
  • Type/file accurately.
  • Accurately count money to maintain and balance a cash drawer.
  • Enter and retrieve information from LL&P software systems.
  • Operate general office equipment; copy/scanning and printing machines.
  • Be able and willing to work outside of normal business hours when required by work assignments including out-of-town.
  • Tactfully communicate with customers.
  • Be flexible and assist co-workers to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently without direct supervision.
  • Be willing to carry out other related duties and tasks as assigned.
